The Government’s Housing Bill has hit a stalemate with the Greens voting to block the bill in the Senate, with the party demanding negotiations over a two month period.
Both the Labor Party and the Greens have been at loggerheads over the bill, with Greens accusing the Labor of not doing enough to address the housing crisis and Labor accusing the Greens of blocking housing to Australians.
Abhranil Hazra spoke to Independent Senator Fatima Payman who abstained from voting for the bill.
