A newly-developed ‘Indigenous jobs map‘ uses artificial intelligence to address barriers towards Indigenous employment.
The project, developed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), seeks to bridge the gap between educational qualifications and job opportunities.
The project found barriers include: lack of diverse job advertisements and geographic location. So, using artificial intelligence, experts analysed more than 10 million job ads to connect Indigenous workers with these jobs.
