Employment Minister Stuart Robert is taking a hard line with the tightening of the JobSeeker requirements – 20 applications per month and numerous other rules like the notorious missing of “appointments” and the ban on moving to arbitrarily defined “areas of lower employment prospects” appear designed for the Centrelink computer system to find any way of stopping payments.
Now if you do get an interview, the employer can report back if they don’t approve of your fashion sense or don’t gel with your personality to have your payments stopped.
It sounds like that if you want to get a go, you have to avoid a lot of hidden judgements that could be made by a prospective employer.
