JobSeeker payments will reportedly go up for people above the age of 55, with those below the age line being left in the dust.
A committee, established by treasurer Jim Chalmers suggested raising the JobSeeker payments for all peoples, not just those over 55, but it appears their suggestions have fell on deaf ears.
Heading into the budget night, those who are struggling with JobSeeker income can expect to continue to struggle.
