ACT Chief Justice Lucy McCallum has been forced to cancel Bruce Lehrmann’s trial for the rape of Brittney Higgins, after it was found that one of the jurors obtained evidence outside the courtroom.
Mr Lehrmann pleaded not guilty to the charges, and was waiting for a verdict from the jurors, who were struggling to reach a unanimous decision.
