The Nadesalingam family are set to return to their home of Biloela in Queensland next month. After four year of detention in different states around Australian and Christmas Island, the family was granted a bridging visa shortly after the Albanese government won the election.

Although there have been mass media coverage advocating for their return to Biloela, there has been conversations around mix feelings of the families return and the importance visual representation is for refugees in everyday Australia.
