New emergency centre in Outback SA with high tech telehealth open

March saw the opening of Australia’s first remote emergency telehealth centre, in SA’s Outback.

The hub harnesses technology and digital innovation – backed by the Royal Flying Doctors Service, to connect patients with healthcare professionals for diagnoses and consultation.
