A new groundbreaking research lead by the Centre for Eye Research Australia has detailed a genetic roadmap of glaucoma, which will allow to study more ways to combat the condition.
According to Glaucoma Australia, 2 in 100 Australians will develop glaucoma, and more than 80 million people globally will be affected by 2040. The study will help to develop better therapies and new drugs that could help reduce blindness.
