New guide targets healthcare’s 5% emissions footprint

Australia’s healthcare system is saving lives every day however it’s also contributing to climate change, responsible for over 5% of the nation’s emissions.

Now, a new guide led by Monash University is aiming to change that.

Sixteen major organisations including hospitals, government departments, and health experts have joined forces to cut emissions, reduce waste, and deliver better care.
