After an exhaustive selection campaign, Boris Johnson’s replacement for PM will be announced at about 10:30pm tonight EST.
Liz Truss, former Foreign Secretary firmed as the consistent poll winner over former Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak.
Ms Truss has been campaigning on reducing taxes and providing relief for those in dire financial straits, but the looming energy increases could be a heavy burdon in the lead up to the election.
