A new report released by Everybody’s Home, an organisation looking to end homelessness, links the growing labour shortage to the increasing housing crisis. In the report it states that with a continual increase in rental prices it continues to impact the work force nationally, with regional areas being hit harder due to harsher conditions.

It was found that the report highlights the increasing rental prices, how these can cause people to end up homeless and in turn makes it harder to find and retain work.

The report shows that through Social Housing and Services, these issues currently harming a large population of this country can be resolved, but only through adequate Federal and State funding
