Teaching Palawa Culture Through An Indigenous Lens

Indigenous Lifeworlds: Story, History, Country; A new subject at The University of Tasmania is changing the way Indigenous culture is taught. “Through an Indigenous lens” students will explore Palawa history through teachings from Aboriginal people. This subject is the beginning of the University of Tasmania’s commitment to alter the western perspective in which curriculum is currently taught.
