Today is Day 5 of the state of emergency declaration in Papua New Guinea after violent riots erupted on Wednesday last week.

PNG’s Prime Minister James Marape is in the spotlight, facing a no confidence vote in February, exactly 18 months after being elected.

His government has already seen SIX ministers resign.
