Public housing in the Pilbara on its way, but not enough

This week, Western Australia’s Housing Minister John Carey says the government is doing everything in their power to repair vacant public housing in Roebourne, in the Pilbara region.

The State government has spent hundreds of millions on maintenance and refurbishments.
But advocates say it’s not enough and not addressing the root of the cause.
