This week is World Allergy Week, supported by the National Allergy Strategy, and the aim is to raise awareness about anaphylaxis, a deadly condition caused by severe allergic reactions.

Anaphylaxis cause approximately 2,400 hospital admissions and approximately 20 deaths in Australia each year. Over 4 million Australians live with allergic disease, and that number is on the rise.
