Syrian Rebels led by the Islamist group Hayat Tahrir Al Shams (HTS), have captured the city of Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria.
The recent events deals a major blow to Bashar Al Assad’s grip on Syria, and is a new chapter in the ongoing Syrian Civil War.
The takeover has led to joy at Assad losing control over the city, with prisoners being set free but uncertainty as many fear the Islamist inclination of the group could endanger minorities and Human Rights.
