Low-income earners in regional Australia are increasingly turning for help to pay for basics amid the worsening cost of living crisis.
Welfare agencies that provide No Interest Loans are turning people away amid unprecedented calls for help.
The scheme allows people to borrow up to two thousand dollars for essential items or housing related expenses, and the regional support service says in the last six months, more wage earners are now seeking help.
Anita Dartel from crisis help provider, told Remy Naughton from National Radio News how she had seen the situation worsen.
