The imminent fall of Mariupol in Ukraine signals the next Russian phase of the war. There appears to be a massive build up along a 500 km long front to take more of the Donbass region.
The question is how much blood is Russia prepared to spill. The Ukrainians appear to not be prepared to have more of their country sliced off, and if western countries stump up some weapons, this war could have quite a way to go.
