Indigenous historian and activist Jackie Huggins has spent a lifetime working for change for Aboriginal people in Australia.

Among her many public roles she has co-chaired both Reconciliation Australia and the National Congress of Australia’s first people. She’s fought many battles to change hearts and minds and her writings over the years record those battles. A new edition of her 1998 book Sister Girl reflects on what those battles have been and what has been achieved.
