A new research from the University of Queensland found out larvae are considered superworms because they are capable of eating polystyrene.
Polystyrene is a plastic used widely to pack electronics and protecting parcels, and it is non-recyclable.
These creatures might help to combat plastic waste, although more research is needed to understand this process.
