Australia is locked in for a wet summer as the Bureau of Meteorology confirmed this week we are in the midst of a La Niña weather event.
La Niña, which is characterised by its intense wet weather, is an almost welcome change after the devastating hot weather and bushfires of 2019.
But, what does this La Niña mean for our nation, and what can it tell us about our climate?
