There is no doubt that the use of artificial intelligence has become a prominent aspect in global business operations in the past decade. It is reported that over 90% of companies use AI in one way or another. That number has risen from 20% since 2017.
However, there is a concern for those about to finish and recently finished their university degrees with how they are going to enter an AI-centric workforce. It is a question of whether or not they have the skills that are not only irreplaceable by AI, but also the skills to work alongside it.
Both corporations and governments have been cultivating methods which allows for transformative AI use for companies’ operations and dealings, while at the same time their current employee base are protected and valued as well as ensuring new employees are welcome.
There are also calls for schools and universities to adjust their curriculums to ensure that students are prepared to work alongside AI, sustaining the job market for future generations.
