Tonight the final ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II will take place. The first will be the funeral service at Westminster Abbey when world leaders and invited guests will pay their respects, the second will be the commitment at St Georges Chapel at Windsor Castle, and finally the private burial with members of the Royal Family only.
The phenomena of the millions of people who have come out to see the Queen’s final journey from Scotland over the last couple of weeks are complex, and the event has captivated media worldwide. Many feel that a constant in their lives has been taken away and others have been given pause to evaluate their own families and lives over the period of the Queen’s reign.
