Our neighbours at Timor-Leste have experienced the worst floods in 50 years, displacing around 1500 families just in the nation’s capital Dili into shelters.
With recent outbreaks of COVID-19, physical distancing and placing families together has been a challenge for authorities and organisations helping the community.
CARE Australia has workers on the ground who are also affected by the floods, and more support is needed from the community.
