Communities across the Torres Strait Islands and the Southern districts of Papua New Guinea are connected by culture, family and economy.
The hardening of the world’s most porous border between the two countries has been necessary through the COVID-19 pandemic, but with only kilometres between them concerns have been high around the rising number of cases hitting PNG.
