Patients with Cystic Fibrosis have fought for generations to maintain their health without a cure. With the recent development of the drug Trikafta, CF patients have gained the opportunity to trial the effects of such. With a price of approximately 475 thousand dollars a packet, the administration has been trying to get the drug approved and funded by the government to allow for easier access.
With negotiations to be made in July, the CF community and broader health professionals have been advocating the importance of this drug and the effects it has had on lives guarded by Cystic Fibrosis.
