Lynch syndrome is a hereditary genetic condition, giving those who have the condition a higher chance of developing certain cancers across their lifetime.
The condition is usually only found if people undergo genetic testing, and according to The Cancer Council of Victoria, around 90 per cent of people who have Lynch syndrome don’t know they have it.
