As the Federal and State Governments have come under fire this week for their failure to meet its April target of vaccinating 4 million people, there are new fears from health experts that Australia will fail to meet its October deadline of delivering a first dose to every Australian adult.

The slow rollout has even seen immunisation expert Professor Robert Booy come out and say that Australia was falling behind in the vaccination race. As it stands, Australia needs to vaccinate 200,000 people every day to reach the goal.
