It is the month of Ramadan, Islam’s holiest month, marked by fasting, spirituality, reflection, charity and prayer for muslims around the world.
The Wire’s Chloe White spoke with President of the Council of Imams Queensland and respected scholar, Imam Uzair Akbar, about the significance of Ramadan and the daily routines practiced during this time, as well as common misconceptions about this religious tradition.
