Eggs, berries, lettuce and now hot chips.
Supply chain disruptions, poor weather conditions and cost increases have all contributed to cause the latest in the recent string of produce shortages, this time its processed potato. Small businesses struggle with cost increases and availability from suppliers while supermarkets impose purchase limits and raise prices on some products.
However the end is in sight, easing conditions mean the shortage should come to an end with the coming harvest.
