This weekend, a whistleblower from the Afghan War will speak in Brisbane and Byron Bay about his case.
David McBride leaked documents to the ABC about misconduct by the Australian Special Forces in Afghanistan in 2017, and now he’s facing a secret trial in November, with a potential life sentence behind bars.
The events will showcase a documentary about his prosecution and how this issue has taken a toll.
