A social media project led by the Queensland Police Service, the Yarrabah Shire Council, and Wugu Nyambil Employment Services has won the Queensland Reconciliation Awards this year, celebrated in Cairns, Queensland.

The project, called Yarrie Yarns Project, started in 2017 to promote local Aboriginal culture and strengthen the relationship within the community.
