This Tuesday the New South Wales government announced landmark reforms to sexual consent laws by adopting the affirmative consent model, meaning consent must be actively sought and actively communicated.
Concerns remain that there have been no new moves to specialise courts hearing sexual assault matters, or to expand and extend sexual consent education.
