Privacy pandemonium over digital ID roll out

With rampant data leaks, identities compromised, and bank accounts depleted overnight, many in the community fear for their personal information.

Subsequently, there has been a dip in confidence after the government proposed to roll out digital IDs this year.

However, the Human Technology Institute at UTS has created proposed principles for decision-makers to strengthen Australia’s data protection apparatus.
